Annual Pajama Drive
Foster Forward’s 11th Annual PAJAMA DRIVE (Drop-Off) for Children & Teens in Foster Care will be held Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Foster Forward Community Storefront located at 50 Ann Mary Street, Pawtukcet, RI (Ocean State Job Lot shopping plaza on the same side as the H&R Block) to drop off your donations.
All pajama donations go to foster children and youth who live with foster families or in group homes. We need ALL sizes of pajamas—from babies to young adults and request that they be in new condition.
This is truly one of our most beloved programs and we are incredibly grateful for your help and enthusiasm.

Holiday Gifts Campaign + Annual Toy Distribution
We believe that every child and young person deserves a beautiful holiday season, whether they are living with a foster family, in a group home, or on their own. For the past 25+ years, Foster Forward has partnered with Rhode Island’s Department of Children, Youth, and Families as well as Hasbro (the toy company) to distribute brand new toys and pajamas to foster children all across the state.
It’s an impressive feat with over 9,000 toys and hundreds of pajamas going straight into the hands of foster families, social workers, and additional providers to make the holidays special for all lives affected by foster care. We are grateful for the many volunteers - both individual and through organizational/corporate partners - who help prep for the event and act as “elves” to pack up bags filled with goodies.
In addition, we sponsor teen wish lists from group homes throughout the area. Businesses, organizations, churches, and individuals then fulfill these wish lists with gracious donations. We also welcome financial contributions at this time to continue to purchase gifts and essentials for foster youth.
